- Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the donation and the sale of dinner tickets and souvenirs through the Ying Wa Girls’ School 125th Anniversary Gala Dinner website. By donating or purchasing a ticket or souvenir, you agree to comply with these terms. - Definitions
- “You” or “Your” refers to the purchaser of the tickets, souvenirs or donations specified on the ticket. This licence can be revoked at any time without prior notice or compensation.
- “We”, “Us”, “Our”, “The Organizer” or “The School” refers to Ying Wa Girls’ School (“YWGS”) , the organization selling the tickets and souvenirs.
- “The Event” refers to Ying Wa Girls’ School 125th Anniversary Gala Dinner.
- Ticket Purchase
- 3.1. Ticket Licence: Each dinner ticket purchased grants you a revocable licence to attend the event specified on the ticket. This licence can be revoked at any time without prior notice or compensation.
- 3.2. Non-Refundable: All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
- 3.3. Age Restrictions: You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket.
- Souvenir Purchase
- 4.1. Non-Refundable: All souvenir purchases are final and non-refundable except defective, damaged or receiving the wrong item.
- 4.2. Condition of Souvenirs: Souvenirs are sold as-is, and the Organizer is not responsible for any damages after purchase.
- Payment Terms
- 5.1. Payment Method: Payments must be made via authorised payment methods listed on our website.
- 5.2. Pricing: Prices for tickets and souvenirs are subject to change without notice but will not affect orders already placed.
- Personal Data Collection
Personal data collected from you will be used for the purpose of organizing this event and alumni communication, which may be transferred to and processed by the Organizer. - 7.1. Limitation of Liability: The Organizer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of tickets and souvenirs.
- 7.2. Assumption of Risk: By purchasing, you acknowledge that you assume all risks associated with attending the event and using purchased souvenirs.
- Changes to Terms
- 8.1. The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
- 8.2. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone or make any kind of adjustment in the event.
- 8.3. The Organizer reserves the right to amend the Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
- Weather
The event may be subject to change according to the weather conditions of the day. If a Black Rainstorm Warning/ Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above/ Landslip Warning is issued before 1:00pm on the event day, the activity will be cancelled or postponed. The Organizer will inform participants through email or SMS and announce the change of date or other arrangements later. - Safety
Participants should take care and safeguard their personal belongings at the event. The Organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage to the personal belongings. - Photography and Publication
The Organizer reserves the right to take photos, videos or recordings in other forms, of participants and their artworks, during the event, and use them for any legitimate purpose without prior approval of participants or provision of any reward. - Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong S.A.R, China. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Hong Kong.
By purchasing a ticket or souvenir, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions set forth by the Organizer.
